Volunteer Program
Volunteering is a wonderful way to give back to your community, make new friends, enhance or learn new skills, and make a difference in another person’s life. The Lutheran Community at Telford appreciates the many talents and energies that volunteers bring to our community.
To ensure the safety and protection of our residents, the Lutheran Community at Telford (LCT) asks volunteers to abide by the same standards as set forth for its employees. Volunteers are required to complete the following: volunteer application form, interview and orientation, sign a confidentiality agreement, take the Mantoux TB test, criminal background check and reference check. Once the process is complete, volunteers are placed in the area where they have the greatest interest.

The Auxiliary of the Lutheran Community at Telford
The Auxiliary was established many years ago and has been a loyal supporter of the Lutheran Community at Telford's mission and has assisted in ensuring the comfort and well-being of healthcare residents. The Auxiliary coordinates various fund raising activities and participates in and supports LCT’s fund raising efforts and mission. Proceeds from the Auxiliary’s fund raising activities support special projects that enhance the environment or meet the needs of LCT’s healthcare residents.
Membership in the Auxiliary requires a nominal annual membership dues payment and a desire to support the mission of the Lutheran Community at Telford.
We hope you will get involved with us and experience the rewarding feeling of helping another person in need or providing your services while helping us to fulfill our mission.
