Memorial and Honor Tribute Gifts
Honor or memorial gifts are contributions made in memory of or in honor of loved ones and offer a wonderful way to carry on the memory of a loved one or recognize a birthday, anniversary, retirement or any special occasion. Matching Gifts
Matching gifts are an excellent way to increase the value of your own gift by utilizing the matching gift program of your company. Obtain the matching gift form from your company and submit it with your gift.
Planned Gifts
Planned gifts provide a way for you to balance your family’s assets and fulfill your charitable intentions. Planned gifts include naming a charity in your bequest; charitable remainder trusts; charitable gift annuities; life insurance; real estate, designating a charity as beneficiary of your retirement plan. Donors are recognized in the Lutheran Community’s Legacy Society.
The Lutheran Community at Telford encourages you to consult the advice of your financial advisor, attorney, or accountant when considering a planned gift.
Your gift can be directed in several ways:
Century Club
The Century Club is an annual fund drive soliciting support for specific healthcare projects and needs identified for healthcare and personal care residents. Past projects have included: enhancements to personal care bathrooms, adding kitchen capability for dining services in skilled nursing care to create a more home-like environment and foster socialization, creating an indoor garden-like setting for visitors and residents in skilled nursing. Every year a new project is selected with the goal of enhancing the environment to create a more home-like atmosphere for healthcare and personal care residents or helping to meet more specific needs.
Benevolent Fund
The Lutheran Community at Telford has abided by the original wishes of the Founders by continuing to care for those residents who have expended their funds. The Benevolence Fund enables residents to continue receiving the same high quality care after they have exhausted their financial means.
Non-Designated Gifts
The Lutheran Community at Telford determines where the gift will be designated based on the greatest need.
