New Construction Information

In keeping with it's mission the Lutheran Community at Telford is replacing its current skilled nursing center with a new state-of-the-art Healthcare Center. The new four-story Healthcare Center will include a Memory Support Unit on the first floor. The top three floors will each be home to 25 skilled nursing residents. In moving away from a single floor with long expanses of corridors, we aim to create a more intimate grouping of rooms that will feel like small neighborhoods.

The Healthcare Center's features will include private furnished rooms with a private bath and European shower. Semi-private rooms will be furnished with living spaces that are separated by a full privacy wall and a shared bath with a European shower. Each resident's living space will have an attractive large window that can be opened to the outdoors, with space for a comfortable sitting area.

In the new Healthcare Center, residents will be able to exercise more choice in their daily activities, and will enjoy greater dignity in the enhanced personal privacy their living space will allow. Along with excellent medical care, the emotional and spiritual well-being of each of our residents is the primary concern.
