About Lutheran Community at Telford
Compassion. Commitment. Dignity. These are the cornerstones of Lutheran Community at Telford. Founded in 1957 by 12 Pastors and their congregations in response to the growing need for quality care for elder parishioners, LCT currently serves a diverse group of seniors from all faiths, while continuing to reflect the values and loving care upon which we were initially built.
While we continue in the founding spirit of providing a sense of community that enables elders to thrive, we recognize the need to update our facility to better care for our current residents and respond to the expanding needs of the surrounding Bucks and Montgomery counties.
About The Compassionate Care Campaign
As part of our strategic planning process, LCT has conducted extensive analyses to assess the growth projections for the local community, and the need for senior care services. Large parts of Bucks and Montgomery counties are experiencing rapid growth. LCT, located centrally within the growth corridor, stands in the forefront of the changing needs of both dementia and nursing care.
The goal of the Compassionate Care Campaign, the first in Lutheran Community at Telford's 53 year history, is to raise $2.5 million to aid in the construction of our new Healthcare Center. Projections on the rapid growth in the senior population age 65 and older, highlight the need for this new construction. The Healthcare Center will allow us to continue to provide exceptional, progressive and comprehensive levels of care that our residents deserve, desire and require as they age.
